With tens of thousands of brands fighting for user attention every day, getting your business in front of potential customers sounds like a tough thing to do.
Planning an ad campaign, however, doesn’t have to be accompanied by a headache – unless you decide to ditch all the tools and assistance that you can have to help you make it all both efficient and effective.
Fortunately, that is not what happened to Akter Public which has partnered with Eskimi to increase visibility and reach for their client, Arena Casino.
“We are delivering great results and people say that they now see us everywhere, which is a very good sign,” said Ivan Vučković, Sales and Digital Media Manager at Akter Public.

Arena Casino is a part of Arena Bet & Casino brand which is one of the largest chains of slot machines, online casinos, and betting companies in the market. Since 1998, the company has gone through many changes that led to continuous development and growth in the betting industry.
In cooperation with Akter public, one of the leading full-service agencies in Croatia, Arena Casino ran a brand awareness campaign with Eskimi to increase the company’s visibility online. Low visibility and inefficient marketing efforts were among the main challenges that the agency encountered when it first started working with Arena Casino.
“They have been working with several agencies at once and not using digital enough. So we kind of forced them to move more budget to digital channels and programmatic advertising in order to achieve our mutual goals,” said Ivan Vučković.
Setting the ad campaign with Eskimi
The goal of this campaign was to make Arena Casino more present on digital channels and increase ad reach. Therefore, the agency was looking for a solution that can help them achieve that.
“We chose Eskimi because we were happy about the number of impressions and inventory that the platform can offer in the Croatian market,” said Ivan Vučković.
“Eskimi team is also fast and can produce additional materials if needed. For instance, we were offered HTML5 creatives for our campaign and we were extremely happy with the solution. And so was our client.”
Combining Eskimi’s static and rich media ads
For its campaign, Arena Casino used a combination of static banners and interactive rich media ads based on Eskimi's rich media templates.
“Another reason why we chose Eskimi was that we were happy with the variety of ad formats it can offer, including rich media. We were especially satisfied with the spinning ad which, after a click, allowed users to play with the real slots right in the banner.”
The possibility to interact with ads can significantly impact engagement rates and ad recall, boosting the overall campaign results. For comparison, Akter Public managed to reach 1.83%-2.22% CTR with their best-performing rich media ads while the CTR for static ads was around 0.17% on average.
Compared to Arena Casino’s previous campaign, Akter Public managed to increase reach by 34% on the most popular Croatian news and sports websites, including Index.hr, Večernji list, and 24sata.
Out of all served impressions, unique user reach was 19,74% with an average CTR of 0,74%.
Adding programmatic advertising to Arena Casino’s media mix was important for building a thorough strategy for digital channels. It helped Akter Public ace its goals for the Arena Casino campaign and not only deliver satisfactory results to the client but also the message to a wider audience – as planned.
